Stanley Smotritsky, Esq.
Stanley Smotritsky, the founding partner of the Firm, is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School. Mr. Smotritsky began his legal career at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office where he worked as a Community Associate in the Early Case Assessment Bureau while attending law school. After graduating from Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Smotritsky became an Associate with a prominent New Jersey Immigration Law Firm - The Law Offices of Isabella Mayzel. As an Associate with Isabella Mayzel's Office, Mr. Smotritsky learned all aspects and intricacies of Immigration Law. He represented clients in Immigration Courts and before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. After resigning from the Law Offices of Isabella Mayzel, Mr. Smotritsky worked as a Contract Attorney for Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen, & Loewy, LLP . the largest and the most prestigious Immigration Firm in the U.S. In that position, Mr. Smotritsky concentrated on the Employment-based area of Immigration Law. He assisted multinational managers, executives, and professionals in obtaining work visas and permanent residency in the United States.
Stanley Smotritsky is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey and is admitted to practice Immigration Law in all 50 states. He is a member of American Immigration Lawyers Associations, American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and New Jersey State Bar Association.

Yakov Spektor, Esq.
Yakov Spektor is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School. He specializes in the areas of Immigration Law, Drug Law, Family Law, Real Estate and the history of jurisprudence. Prior to joining the law firm of Smotritsky & Spektor, PLLC, Mr. Spektor was conducting independent research into the Drug Law and the Supreme Court jurisprudence. He has written papers concerning areas of International Law as well as Fourth Amendment jurisprudence and is currently preparing to submit them to law journals. He writes regularly on the subjects of Immigration Law, Drug Law and Policy. Yakov Spektor is admitted to practice law in New York.

Terence J. Ricaforte, Esq.
Terence J. Ricaforte (Of Counsel) is a graduate of New York Law School. Mr. Ricaforte began his legal career at the New York City Law Department where he worked as a paralegal in the Special Federal Litigation Division and the Tax and Bankruptcy Division while attending Law School. Mr. Ricaforte then worked at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office where he worked as a Community Associate in the Early Case Assessment Bureau until he finished law school in 2005. After graduating from New York Law School, Mr. Ricaforte joined the Miami State Attorney Prosecutor's Office. As an Assistant State Attorney, Mr Ricaforte prosecuted numerous Felony and Misdemeanor crimes including Driving Under the Influence, Driving License Suspensions, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Drug Possession and Sales, Assault and Battery, Prostitution, Petit and Grand Larceny, Burglary, Disorderly Conduct, Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, quality of life crimes and much more. The Miami State Attorney's Office is one of the most prominent Prosecutor Offices in the nation. Mr. Ricaforte resigned from the Miami State Attorney's office to be closer to his family in New York. Terence Ricaforte is admitted to practice law in Florida, New Jersey and New York.
